1. Booking Confirmation

By confirming a booking and making an advance payment to Holiday Formula, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted all terms and conditions listed on this page. The person making the booking ("lead passenger") must be 18 years of age or older.

Once a booking is confirmed, Holiday Formula will issue a confirmation message via WhatsApp or email with the trip details, agreed fare and payment schedule. Please review this carefully and notify us immediately if anything is incorrect.

2. Payments

Holiday Formula requires a 30% advance payment to confirm any taxi or travel booking. The remaining 70% is payable on the day of travel before the service begins, or as specified in your booking confirmation.

• Payments can be made by UPI, bank transfer, or cash. Credit card payments may attract a 2–3% transaction fee.
• If the balance payment is not received by the agreed date, Holiday Formula reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled and apply the cancellation policy.
• All payments must be made to Holiday Formula's official bank account or UPI ID only. Always request an official receipt.

3. Vehicle & Transportation

The vehicle provided is for point-to-point transfers and agreed itineraries only. It is not at the passenger's personal disposal for unscheduled stops or extended detours unless separately agreed and priced.

• AC vehicle means a vehicle with functional heating and cooling. Non-AC vehicle means a vehicle without this facility.
• During peak season (March–October), if the booked vehicle is unavailable, a similar or higher-capacity vehicle will be substituted at no extra cost, or a fare adjustment will be made if a lower-capacity vehicle is used.
• Holiday Formula reserves the right to split a high-capacity vehicle booking into two lower-capacity vehicles during peak season if necessary.

4. Local Union Taxis at Tourist Destinations

At certain destinations — including Gulmarg, Pahalgam (Betaab Valley, Aru Valley, Chandanwari) and Sonamarg (Thajiwas Glacier) — government regulations require the use of local union taxis or ponies for inner-valley routes. These are not operated by Holiday Formula and are payable directly to the local providers at union-fixed rates.

Holiday Formula's driver will explain these arrangements at the destination. Approximate costs for local transport range from ₹1,000–₹2,200 per destination and are not included in the Holiday Formula fare unless explicitly stated.

5. Circumstances Beyond Our Control

Holiday Formula cannot accept responsibility for delays, route changes or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:

• Landslides, road blockages, or severe weather conditions
• Road closures by government or military authorities
• Natural calamities, floods, snowfall, or earthquakes
• Civil unrest, strikes, or other force majeure events

Any additional costs arising from such events (alternative transport, accommodation, etc.) are to be borne by the passenger directly.

6. Passenger Responsibilities

• Passengers are responsible for their own safety and the safety of their luggage at all times.
• Passengers must carry valid government-issued photo ID, which may be required at checkpoints in Jammu & Kashmir.
• Holiday Formula is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during the journey.
• Passengers are expected to behave respectfully towards drivers and other travellers. Holiday Formula reserves the right to terminate a booking without refund if a passenger's behaviour endangers others or damages property.

7. Disputes & Jurisdiction

All disputes arising from bookings made with Holiday Formula shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, India only.
